² Praise him, all you ·angels [messengers].
    Praise him, all ·you armies of heaven [his hosts; ^Cthe angelic army].
³ Praise him, sun and moon.
    Praise him, all you ·shining stars [^Lstars of light].
⁴ Praise him, ·highest heavens [^Lheaven of heavens]
    and you waters above the ·sky [heavens].
